Contract Manager

JGM is looking for a Contract Manager to manage the HUD FSM 3.12 contract.   JGM’s Government Contract Managers are responsible for the successful delivery of services to federal government agencies.  The position manages contracts and subcontracts in accordance with the company procedures, applicable laws and government requirements.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Maintaining and tracking internal contract deadlines and proactively administering required actions
  • Analyzing contractual requirements, special provisions, terms and conditions to ensure compliance
  • Maintaining and updating federal government contracts as needed through modifications for price adjustments, addition or deletion of services
  • Providing advice to upper management and project teams on compliance and fulfillment
  • Primary point of contract for the Government Contracting Officer
  • Meeting regularly with Government Contracting Officer to discuss contractual items as well as resolve issues
  • Supporting the management of JGM’s vendor network on contractual matters
  • Reviewing contract documentation and modifications, negotiations (as appropriate), and ensuring reporting requirements are met
  • Working in conjunction with JGM’s business and contract support staff to implement and manage contracting, billing, and auditing activities
  • Preparing and disseminating information regarding contract status
  • Reporting to project teams, account staff, and management
  • Adhering to specific industry rules and regulations
  • Ensuring internal contract documents are accurate and well maintained
  • Professionally manage confidential information

 

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Prefer NCMA Certification
    • Minimum three (3) years’ experience working on Government contracts
    • Must have strong knowledge of contract management and government regulations
    • Demonstrate a solid understanding of legal terminology
    • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Exemplify a strong attention to detail while being analytical
    • Ability to mentor less-experienced contract professionals
    • Experience with Python, SQL, and Tableau is preferred
    • Experience with P260, PPW, Yardi Voyager and Aspen is preferred
    • Must pass a criminal background check and drug screen
